Policies: the Fine Print.

It is standard practice for websites operated within the United States to include a notice or link outlining their Rights and Restrictions of Use. However, many websites that use U.S.-based domain extensions—such as .com—are not actually owned, managed, or governed by entities within the United States. The U.S. allows the international sale of domain names, except to parties restricted by federal sanctions. Therefore, visiting a website that appears “U.S.-based” does not guarantee that it complies with U.S. law or adheres to American intellectual property standards.

This is a common misconception—but it is incorrect.

Websites that fail to comply with U.S. copyright or intellectual property law typically operate under the legal systems (or the absence thereof) of their own jurisdictions. Only after the global pandemic, beginning in 2020, did the United States enact legislation requiring website operators to disclose ownership and location details. This transparency requirement remains relatively new and unevenly enforced.

Accordingly, I have prepared a formal Rights and Restrictions document, linked below, to clearly define the protections applied to my work as a United States–born citizen and artist. This includes all artwork, written content, code, and other intellectual property displayed or referenced on this website. In short: every element of this site is owned by me.

No individual or entity may copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any portion of my creative work without my express written consent.

My Mix Shows are pre-recorded, pre-made, beat-matched mixes with timed transitions between songs. They create an uninterrupted listening experience. Each mix, called a Mix-set in the DJ-world, is my original work of sound, copyright protected and part of my real life story. My Service (this site) is the delivery location for my story and it is what I did with my ups and downs to cope with them. I wanted this to be online without anything physical so I made them stream without any downloadable music files at all. Since they are not downloadable, there is nothing to refund because their is nothing to return, because this is a service, and my mixes are service acts, not physical or downloadable items. So there is nothing to refund because there is nothing to return. But you can read more about this anyway in my Refund Policy. It is written to look more like other site's Refund Policy so you can compare mine to their more easily. Click the button below to read it.

To remain safe while listening to music, bear in mind that listening to music is "immersive." Immersive experiences occupy the senses of sound and thought and can increase distraction from concentrating on what you are doing. For example, music can be distracting for a driver or bicycle rider. Take care to remain alert while enjoying my mix shows and arrive comfortably to your next destination. At the page linked to this button (the button below) you will find my Maturity Ratings. I use custom-maturity ratings for which I use known maturity rating icons. This way, the closest known maturity rating will apply to my pages, for which there are no official maturity ratings, because my site is for music and the lyrics in music are considered free speech. So Maturity ratings don't apply to them so I made a customized way to use them nevertheless. See the page to know more.

I use Amazon's Store to sell physical products that work well with my digital artwork. From this page you can link directly to selected products there that offer Amazon's Customize Product option that lets you upload a digital file, an image, then place it somewhere on the physical product.

Because you are shopping with Amazon when you do this, their policies for returns and shopping apply, not ours. Our policies only apply to our digital item, for example an image we sold you, and because we do not accept return of those, nor do we exchange them, all sells of those are final.
